  Lifetime PA dog license- BLUE

At first glance, this dog looks very ill. Indeed Blue does have a terminal illness. Other people had shown compassion and concern for him and so the homeowner put up some signs on his doghouse and trees that explained the condition. Blue has fast growing blood tumor as noticed near his shoulder and is inoperable. He is well provided for and gets walked. The signs welcome anyone to come and pet him.

I went up to Blue and said hello. I wish he were kept indoors, but I noticed that he wore a collar with a  lifetime dog license on it. Most people don't bother to license their dogs, much less pay for a lifetime one.

Blue apparently lived a long life and was well taken care of. He is now in his golden years and is not suffering.

Update: Blue is now over the rainbow bridge
