The tag on the left is in relatively unused condition. The one on the right shows considerable wear and its black enamel that was placed in the recesses has only a faint amount of it left. These types of tags with a dog image in them, along with cutouts, numerals and dog head/doghouse shaped tags are considered FANCY by collectors. They sell for higher amounts and are more desirable.
