Vintage newspaper article on dog tag collector

An admitted compulsive collector since childhood, Ms. Rose saved keys in her childhood. This article from many decades ago mentions that she will trade pens, pencils, yardsticks and bankbags for a chance to get a dog license. This paper documents the oldest tag known in America as an 1866 Cincinatti, Ohio owned by a Buck Witt of Oregon who claimed to have more than 15,000 tags in his collection.

She was proud to own a 1914 Kissimmee FL tag as her oldest, but adores her military base tags also......
