An admitted compulsive collector since childhood, Ms. Rose saved keys in her childhood. This article from many decades ago mentions that she will trade pens, pencils, yardsticks and bankbags for a chance to get a dog license. This paper documents the oldest tag known in America as an 1866 Cincinatti, Ohio owned by a Buck Witt of Oregon who claimed to have more than 15,000 tags in his collection. She was proud to own a 1914 Kissimmee FL tag as her oldest, but adores her military base tags also......
